Some system software can cause conflicts with file downloads. Click start/run and type msconfig. Click the startup tab and see what programs you have running all the time. Often programs like Norton, aggressive anti virus software, or file managers will be the root of the problem. Try to get your system as simple as possible by unchecking some of the items here. You can
always turn them back on and it often speeds up your system considerably.
Get windows and Mac updates. Make sure your pc has all the Microsoft goodies that fix all sort of potential problems.

Left click and see if the file will play with your computer's media player. If you’re still having trouble get us more specifics about your system, like Windows Version, browser, codecs installed and media player versions.
